Do carrots improve night vision? No! This conical taproot might help your Vitamin K and B6, but its nocturnal eye benefits have been slightly (completely) exaggerated. So where did this bizarre bit of tuber trivia come from? Well, during WW2, the eye/carrot connection was part of a British propaganda campaign to account for their Air Force's surprising victories during night battles (real cause: the invention of radar)! True story! This cuddly Carrot isn't trying to improve your eyes, or win aerial battles over London, but it is trying to look super cute. And it succeeds!
